this week is THE week. had been and will be super duper busy. let me recap:

monday
we had video recording of all the items for our dance production in the hall. for the voulez vous people, we got our feather boas. it's so itchy to wear it around our necks and while we perspire, the colour ran and dyed our necks. and then i got the purple neck disease. haha... year 3 alumni dance, year 2 dances, year 1 dances, 2005 syf gold with honours dance, teachers' dance and dancers whom i still haven't figured out who they are yet. saw them all. they were fantastic and there were a wide genre of dances. =) we started recording at 7pm, finished all the items and had a debrief. the thing which zaki kept reminding us was to dance full out because people pay to watch our dances and it must be worth their money. so please think about all the sweat and time and effort put in while we dance and even if it sucked or if there were mistakes, close one eye and appreciate the entire performance ok? haha.. :P we left school at close to 9pm after everything ended.

tuesday
was trying to finish a geography essay late last night and woke up late in the morning. felt pain in my eye but was too busy rushing to care about it. put on my contacts and before i ran out the door, i had an urge to throw in my specs, contacts container and solution into my bag. on the way to school, the pain was unbearable and i could hardly open my eyes. then i couldn't take it anymore and asked for permission to leave school after morning assembly to see the doctor. doctor says i've got an eye infection and i can't wear contact lenses for 2 weeks!! aaaahhhh!!!! how am i supposed to dance without being able to see anything? the first time, i asked the doctor if i really cannot wear contacts for a day and he said no. then he started explaining to me the medication he was going to give me and yada yada yada which i was too distracted to listen. then i asked him again if i really really really cannot wear contacts for even a few hours for a day. and guess what? he started scolding me la. -_-" what a cold-blooded doctor. can't even empathize with a suffering patient. but anyway, i don't think i'm going to listen to the doctor. cos i'll most probably going to screw up everything if i can't see properly. thank God i brought my specs cos if not, i'll be living the rest of my day in blindness.
dance practice, practice, practice. then miss wee vetted our voulez vous dance. actually she changed quite a bit of the steps and made meng ai quite unhappy cos it was her choreography. hmm.. but it does make the dance look neater. well.. anything for the sake of the dance la. and meng ai hurt her ankle!! aahh!! she sprained it while watching our dance from the top of a short staircase. almost fell heavily but thankfully she managed to hold on to the railings. really hope she'll recover soon..

wednesday (today)
my eye got less redder than yesterday. which is a good sign. and i don't feel the pain anymore. my eye medication is so yucky. besides and eye drop, there's this gel thingy which i gotta squeeze into my eye. eww.. ponned pe cos i don't feel like taking it.
it was the last day of the sale of dance tickets and during break time, there were lots of people around the table selling the tickets. even the entire house comm people going eh. i think really quite alot of people going. which after giving a serious thought about it, makes me feel really stressed cos at any point in time onstage, there will be people you know starring at you. :S
today is a dance rest day. had dance briefing. then shi min and me went tampines mall to get some last minute stuffs for tomorrow's full dress rehearsal.

coming thursday
lessons in school until 1155 then a full dress rehearsal at kallang theatre from 230-11pm. it'll be ultra shiong. gotta have an early night. after watching da chang jin, that is. haha.. :P probably not doing tutorials again. (sorry miss yee! i feel so guilty towards her. :S)

coming friday
